General Terms and Conditions (B2C)

(Applicable to Private Customers)


1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all offers, training programs, courses, workshops, trips, tours, coaching sessions, and events provided byCyclingRide Academy c/o ilogs healthcare GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "CRA") that are booked by private individuals (B2C).

 

By making a booking or registering, you accept these GTC as legally binding.

2. Provider, Role & Service Delivery

CRA is the service provider of the training programs, courses, and events offered.

Bookings and payment processing are generally handled via the external platform Eversports.

Eversports acts solely as a booking and payment service provider.

CRA is exclusively responsible for the delivery, content, and quality of all services.

3. Offers and Scope of Services

The specific scope of services is defined by:

  • the respective offer published on the website,

  • the course or training description, and

  • the booking confirmation.

CRA reserves the right to make organizational adjustments (e.g., schedule, content, timetable, or assignment of coaches or guides), provided that the essential nature of the service remains unchanged.

4. Booking, Registration and Contract Formation

4.1 Booking via Eversports

The contract is concluded upon successful booking through Eversports.

The terms and conditions of Eversports also apply.

 

4.2 Direct Booking with CRA

In exceptional cases, bookings may be made directly with CRA.

The contract is concluded upon written booking confirmation by CRA.


5. Prices and Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF).

For bookings made via Eversports, payment must be completed exclusively through that platform.

For direct bookings, payment must be made in accordance with the invoice or payment instructions issued by CRA.

Participation is only possible once full payment has been received.


6. Participation Requirements & Responsibility

Participation is entirely at the participant's own risk.

By booking, you confirm that:

  • you are physically fit and medically able to participate;

  • you possess sufficient riding skills, particularly for outdoor activities.

For outdoor activities, all applicable traffic regulations and safety rules must be observed at all times.


7. Minors

Minors may only participate with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The signed consent must be submitted before the event begins.

Without valid consent, participation may be refused.


8. Cancellation Policy


8.1 Training Programs (Academy Indoor & Outdoor)

Cancellation up to 7 days before the start
→ Full refund.

Cancellation less than 7 days before the start or failure to attend
→ No refund.
→ Rebooking or credit voucher.
→ Credit voucher valid for 6 months.
→ No entitlement to a preferred date or preferred format.

8.2 Courses, Workshops & Individual Events

Cancellation up to 72 hours before the start
→ Full refund.

Cancellation less than 72 hours before the start or failure to attend
→ No refund.
→ Rebooking or credit voucher (valid for 6 months).

Rebooking is generally permitted once only.

9. Cancellation, Interruption or Changes by CRA

CRA reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or terminate offers due to:

  • insufficient participant numbers;

  • illness of coaches or guides;

  • weather conditions, safety concerns, or terrain risks;

  • force majeure.

In such cases, participants will receive either:

  • a rebooking option, or

  • a credit voucher (valid for 6 months).

Termination of an activity for safety reasons does not entitle participants to a refund.

10. Liability

Participation is at your own risk.

CRA shall only be liable in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of profits is excluded.

CRA accepts no liability for personal belongings, bicycles, or equipment.

 

11. Insurance

Accident, liability, and health insurance are the sole responsibility of each participant.

CRA does not provide any insurance coverage.

12. Gift Vouchers, Credit Vouchers & Discount Codes


12.1 Gift Vouchers & Credit Vouchers

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

  • Not redeemable for cash.

  • The expiry date is binding.

 

12.2 Discount Codes

  • Standard discount codes may be redeemed once only.

  • Special discount codes (e.g., student, apprentice, or B2B incentive codes) may be used multiple times, but only for the agreed offers.

  • Discount codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • CRA reserves the right to reject discount codes in cases of misuse.


13. Image and Media Rights

Photographs and video recordings may be taken during events.

CRA may use such recordings for marketing and communication purposes.

Any objection must be submitted in writing before the event begins.

 

14. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection legislation.

 

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law.

The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of CyclingRide Academy c/o ilogs healthcare GmbH.

16. Severability

Should any provision of these GTC be found invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The CyclingRide Academy is your go-to place for professional indoor and outdoor cycling. Experience team spirit, passion, fascination, riding skills, and adventure on and off the bike.
